Woodford Youth Soccer will sponsor a PASSBACK collection of used soccer gear during the 2011  Bluegrass Cup tourney.   PASSBACK is a program which is a joint effort between the U. S. Soccer Foundation, Eurosport and Major League Soccer to help meet the soccer uniform and equipment needs of all communities, regardless of income, gender or location.   Used but still playable gear is collected and then distributed to teams/organizations who are otherwise unable to afford even the most basic soccer equipment.   Items especially needed are soccer shoes/boots, uniforms/shorts, balls, shin guards and keeper gloves; youth through adult sizes are needed.

There will be a marked collection bin near the concession stand for your donations during the tournament.   All items must be clean and shoes must be dry and free of mud; shoes should be tied together.   Please deflate balls before placing them in the collection bin.
