WYSA announcement 2020:

Versailles, Kentucky, March 15, 2020 – Woodford Youth Soccer (WYSA) and the Soccer Parenting Association today announce a partnership agreement by which all families associated with WYSA will now receive free access to the educational content on the SoccerParentResourceCenter.com platform.

The Soccer Parent Resource Center seeks to improve and enhance the experience for youth soccer players by engaging and supporting the players’ parents on topics related to the Body, Mind, Coach, Parent, Next Level, and the Game as well as providing coach education related to establishing positive relationships with players and parents.

WYSA is a youth soccer organization that unifies soccer at all levels. We build pride in our individuals, our teams, and our club. We foster an environment that allows each player to experience the thrill of competition and the challenge of improvement. WYSA takes pride in the growth of club members as athletes, students, and responsible young people.

Our mission is to provide our players with the best opportunities to develop successfully, by providing the highest level of soccer training, education and programming in the area. WYSA provides all of its members the opportunity to contribute to, and benefit from, the positive learning environment.

WYSA is a player development organization. We provide an environment that fosters the growth of all players and coaches. Appropriate levels of programming on a community level allows us to service all of our members’ soccer development needs. Core to this approach is creating a player pathway through various program offerings, while maintaining the same consistent values in our teachings.

Providing a positive youth sporting experience where all children feel inspired, develop important life skills, and establish healthy habits they will take with them for life must be a top priority for all youth sport organizations.  “The investment WYSA is making towards positively affecting the lives of the players and families associated with their club is commendable. We are proud to work with WYSA and are encouraged by their commitment to make a positive impact in their community through sport,” said Skye Eddy Bruce, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association.

“We are incredibly excited to begin this partnership with SoccerParenting.com. Skye and her staff have been outstanding in developing this platform and service for all soccer parents, coaches, and leaders.  We are thrilled to be able to offer this free resource to our parents, coaches, and staff and hope that we can make WYSA that much better – together.” said Mercedes Weller, Chief Administrator of Woodford Youth Soccer.
